Forest After Fire

In December 2006 an arsonist set fire to a portion of the George Washington National Forest in Amherst County, Virginia. About 2000 acres were burned. A few days after the fire, I went for a hike through the area. Local coverage from the Blue Ridge Gazette with photography by D L Ennis.
